Get Fit Before Summer Hits

April is coming to end and that means Summer is just around the corner. I don’t know about you, but I want to make sure all the hard work I did this Winter pays off when Memorial Day weekend rolls around and the pools open up.

With that said, I have compiled a list to help everyone, including myself, get fit before summer hits.

 


Get Fit By Gettin’ Cut

  1. Go to the gym whenever you can. Don’t skip a day because your tired or there’s a particular TV program you want to watch. Time is running out and every minute counts.
  2. Get off the bench and get on the cables. It’s time to get cut, not huge, so put down the barbell and hop on the cable machines. Try to get creative and figure how to sculpt those Shoulders, Lats, and especially Ab muscles.
  3. Utilize the Swiss ball. The Swiss ball is one of the best tools to carve out your Abs. Instead of doing 1000 crunches on the ground, do a couple dozen crunches on the Swiss ball.
  4. Double up on your Cardio. Whatever Cardio exercise your doing, do it twice as much. This means if you only run one mile a day, you should now run two. 
  5. Watch everything you eat. This means no junk food. No soda, sweets, bakery and especially fast food. Cut the Trans Fats and extra Calories and your gonna start seeing a difference.

    I have a question… what exactly do you consider ‘bakery’ and do have any healthy substitutes for my favorite treats? I can’t seem to get through the work-day without taking a ‘treat’ break, know what I mean?
